Overview
Explore the landscapes of southeastern Kazakhstan on a week-long cycling journey that combines mountain roads, remote villages, ancient heritage and some of the country’s most striking natural scenery. Ride from the open landscapes around the Ile River to Issyk and the Uygur village of Bayseit, experience the vastness of Charyn Canyon, and cycle through the Tien Shan towards the beautiful Kolsai and Kaindy Lakes before returning to Almaty. The journey also includes time to discover Almaty’s mountain backdrop, with rides around Medeu Gorge and visits to Talgar Pass and Kok-Tobe. Premium electric cycles are included, with non-electric cycles available at an additional cost. Accommodation combines comfortable 4-star hotels, a night in safari tents at Charyn Canyon, and a mountain guest house in Saty, offering a mix of comfort and connection with the landscapes along the way.
